Olympus Stylus Tough - One Tough Camera

Bill Swann - Thursday, November 12, 2009
If you are into adventure sports, and like to take photos of where you are - you really need to take a good look at the Olympus Stylus Tough. I bought mine from Best Buy for $251 (on sale) and it was a great deal. I bought the 10 megapixel model; their 12 megapixel model is a little over $100 more.
Its size is perfect; slim and able to be stored in many of the little nooks and crannies that we have either in our clothes pockets or gear.
The photos are awesome and very clear. The functions are numerous including a "Panorama" function that works crazy good. With a 2 gig card, it has a 700+ memory capacity and can also take video with sound.
Tough? Does it live up to its name...ABSOLUTELY. I took this on our 3 day kayak trip and even popped it in the water for 5 or 6 photos of some starfish we saw in about 4 feet of water.
I posted a link to the camera on the Best Buy website and this was the best price I could find in my search.
I've taken this camera on mountain bike rides, the kayak trip I've described above, long hikes and plan to continue taking it on other adventures.
